Special Lady.....A Success Story!

Being as this is going to be a place where we're sharing info and such I'm going to start out today by sharing a success story....both for me and obviously the one I am going to tell you about. I won't make this long winded, I hate reading too.  Just get to the point.....Right! So, after having a business with my hubby for all that time and then deciding to try this online thing I had became terrified on what to look at, who to trust and wondering just when should I take that leap.   I happened to get sidetracked to YouTube and then began looking at the "How To Start an Online Business" videos where there was a gazzillion of them. Purely by accident, or maybe fate, there she was.......
Tish Washington.  When you've been in business as long as we had been you get used to being able to look into someones face and talk to them or get a handshake. Not with your computer.  Please take the time to read about Tish and her success. She's as real as they come and after having had the chance to speak with her on the phone for a while (yes she takes that kind of time) I ended up feeling like the world had been lifted off my shoulders. She made the internet seem not so scary AND restored my faith in the fact that even on the internet there is some honest people that truly want you to succeed as well as they did.   www.thatgirldidit.com

Good Mornin' Cyber Family!!

Well, even after starting this blog I see that already the date isn't right today as I log in to my blog. See...I wasn't just kiddin't when I said it just makes me "Krazy"...this computer-cyber-blog-web thing.  Well, I'm sure it will get better and if I can't get it right one of you out there will be more than willing to give me a little constructive criticism on what the **** I'm doin' wrong.
This mornin' I'm tackling the affiliate thing.  In my travels trying to find what is good, what is not worth wasting my time on, who is being somewhat honest and not just out for themselves has been daunting. The only good advice I have been given over the past year of doin' research is "do your homework", be "dilligent" or you will get taken.  I have found this to be all too true.
I have been foolish and lost money by jumping in too quickly to something I thought would make me money. I then found out that there was another word that wasn't in my vocabulary yet....and that was the word "patience".   If you don't have that your are already beaten.  I did know that people who thought they could make a gazzillion dollars a month was definitely unrealistic but, who doesn't get excited when your told that you can make four figures a month just playing on your computer.  That's when you lose all objectivity. I'm sure that's what half these sites count on.
I think blogs are a great tool for helping people get past being taken (I could be wrong)because they are a place where you can get and share information that will hopefully end all the horror stories of  people losing there shirts when they've tried to earn money online.
For my blogging education, I found (after much surfing) a place that made things simple, as well as honest and a site that I'm sure if your a blogger you have already heard of.  It is http://www.problogger.net/ by Darren Rowse.  His site is wonderful and really gives you a lot of good info on blogging and how to make money blogging. He keeps it simple (which works great for me) so give him a look.  I know you'll enjoy it as much as I did.  Have a great day everyone!!
